New Oriel Hall actively encourages new groups and offers introductory discounts on room hire for an initial period.
This beautifully and sympathetically restored Victorian School is both welcoming and uplifting.
We hold a current Premises License and can accommodate up to 280 people.
We provide:
- community spaces for a wide range of activities and events. (See Timetable)
- baby changing facilities.
- the use of a TV and DVD player, Overhead Projector, screen and Flip Chart.
We have:
- good accessibility to all downstairs spaces for wheelchair users, and a disabled toilet.
- a foldable stage which measures 12' x 8'.
- a lovely well maintained garden area with seating.
The Main Hall and Social Area can be opened up to make one room, both have soundproofing.
Seating is available for 130 people. x16 large tables
(6' x 2.6/1.83 x 0.79 m, seats 8) and x5 small tables
(4'x 2.6/1.22 x 0.79 m, seats 6)
The kitchen is large and fully equipped with provision of crockery and cutlery for 130 people. There is a double servery area. We have a large double oven for cooking or heating food.
There is plenty of free on street parking adjacent to the hall, and a small 1hr shoppers car park with disabled parking directly outside the hall.
